Toto Sport Ethiopia Review

Toto Sport – written TotoSport on the brand’s own pages, which also used the name TOTOBet – was an Ethiopian betting site at totosport.com that paired a well-equipped sportsbook with a broad games section. In this toto sport review we look at what the platform offered, how deposits in birr worked and where the brand stands today.

At our last check in October 2026, totosport.com did not load: the server returned a Cloudflare 525 error, and a review site had already reported an “Under Maintenance” homepage in August 2026. All sports-betting licences in Ethiopia were revoked on 15 December 2025, so whatever permission TotoSport relied on before then no longer applies. Read this page as a record of what the brand offered, not as an invitation to deposit.

What is TotoSport?

The betting site we found in web archives from April 2025 to May 2026 carried the title “TotoSport – Ethiopian Sports Betting & Games – TOTOBet”. The domain itself is much older but hosted unrelated content in the 2000s, so the brand as Ethiopian players knew it dates from no later than spring 2025. The site code points to an Italian white-label platform – it contains Italian interface strings and a Softion configuration – and we found no legal name for the operating company in the material we reviewed.

What made Toto Sport stand out was its set of betting tools: Bet Builder, MultiBet, live betting with automatic or manual cash-out, plus separate poker and racing sections. The code also suggests the interface ran in English and Amharic, and the site displayed a 21+ logo, in line with the national minimum betting age.

Toto Sport registration and login

We could not open a TotoSport account – the site was offline before our test – and the archived copies do not show the full sign-up form. Registration at Ethiopian betting sites of this type typically asks for a mobile number in the +251 format, a password or PIN, and a one-time SMS code to confirm the number. The TotoSport code did include a telebirr PIN prompt, but that belonged to the payment flow, not to registration.

Logging in to TotoSport

Login normally used the same phone number and password. With the official domain down, any page asking for your TotoSport login is either a third-party review site or a copy – several lookalike domains with “totosport” in the name belong to affiliates, not to the operator. If you still have a balance on an old account, keep your transaction records: the December 2025 order required operators to settle customer balances.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

TotoSport had one of the clearer payment set-ups among local brands. The list of payment providers in the site code from June 2025 included:

• telebirr, through both the regular flow and telebirr USSD (*127#);
• CBE Birr;
• M-Pesa;
• vouchers.

Review sites quote a low minimum deposit, but we could not confirm a figure from the brand, and we have no reliable data on withdrawal times either. Keep in mind that since 15 December 2025 banks and wallet providers have been instructed to block payments to betting operators.

Sports betting and odds

Football was the core of the TotoSport sportsbook. In Ethiopia most betting goes on the English Premier League, other European leagues and the domestic Ethiopian Premier League, and a sportsbook of this kind is built around exactly those fixtures.

The tools were the brand’s strong side:

• Bet Builder – several markets from one match combined into a single bet;
• MultiBet – classic accumulators across different matches, with a promo page explaining the difference between the two;
• Live betting with cash-out – you could settle a bet early by hand or set cash-out to trigger automatically.

Some review sites also mention esports markets such as Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and League of Legends; we could not confirm them. We did not measure TotoSport’s odds before the site went down, so we do not publish a margin figure.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

For a local brand, the games side was broad. The archived site included:

• slots, with a Pragmatic Play banner in the lobby;
• game shows and Turbo Games;
• a live casino section;
• Aviator;
• keno – our keno betting guide explains how the game works;
• Virtual Races from the Softion platform;
• poker and a separate racing section.

Crash games and keno move fast: a round lasts seconds or minutes, so a session can burn through a balance far quicker than a weekend football accumulator. That is true on any site, not just this one.

TotoSport bonuses and promotions

Promotion pages for the site that were still indexed in 2026 included a registration bonus, an accumulator bonus, cashback and daily cashback, a promotion called “Victory Vault”, and explainer pages on MultiBet vs Bet Builder and on cash-out. We have no official, dated terms for any of these offers. Bonus amounts and wagering figures circulate on review sites, but we could not confirm them, and with the site offline none of the offers can be claimed anyway.

Mobile site and app

TotoSport worked as a mobile website; we found no confirmed native app for Android or iOS. If someone sends you a “TotoSport APK” on Telegram, do not install it – an app from an unknown source can read SMS codes and collect your login and payment details.

Is Toto Sport safe?

We can only judge the brand on what we could see. On the positive side, TotoSport ran on a European white-label platform, showed a 21+ notice and supported mainstream Ethiopian wallets. On the other side, the operating company is not named in the material we reviewed, older review sites mention a national licence without giving any number, and since 15 December 2025 no betting operator in Ethiopia holds a valid licence. The official domain has been unreachable since at least August 2026.

Simple rules apply: use only the brand’s own domain, never share your PIN or SMS codes, and remember that betting is for people aged 21 and over.

Our verdict on TotoSport

On paper, Toto Sport was one of the better-built local sportsbooks: Bet Builder, MultiBet and automatic cash-out are tools that not every local site offered, and the payment list covered telebirr, CBE Birr and M-Pesa. The games lobby, with slots, live casino, Aviator, keno and virtual races, was broad for a local brand. The weak points are the thin public information about who ran it and the fact that totosport.com was offline at our last check.
