Konjo Bet Online Review

Konjo Bet online is a sportsbook and casino aimed at Ethiopian players, running at konjo.bet. “Konjo” means “beautiful” in Amharic. The brand is searched under many spellings, including “konjo beting”, “konjobet” and “kojo bet”, and most of them lead to the same place. In this review of Konjo Bet online we explain what the site offers, how registration with a +251 number works, what is known about payments, and how Konjo is connected to Best Bet.

We checked konjo.bet in October 2026, when it was online with its full menu, and we flag the details that come only from third-party reviews.

What is Konjo Bet?

Konjo is a local-facing brand built on a white-label betting platform, ready-made software also used by other African bookmakers. Konjo runs on the same platform as Best Bet and shares its social channels, which is why reviews often describe Konjo as a rebrand of Best Bet. We could not confirm a formal rebrand or its date, so we treat them as related brands on a shared platform. See our Best Bet review for that brand.

According to review sites, the company behind the brand is Konjo Bet Sport Betting PLC, registered in Ethiopia. We could not confirm this on konjo.bet, which shows no company name and no licence text. Some reviews say that Konjo held a licence from the National Lottery Administration. Even if that was true, it was revoked together with all other sports-betting licences on 15 December 2025. The site is available in English, Amharic and French.

Kojo bet: a typo for Konjo

We found no Ethiopian bookmaker called “Kojo Bet”. When people in Ethiopia search for “kojo bet”, they almost always mean Konjo. Be careful with kojobet.com: it is an unrelated online casino aimed at Asian players, not the Ethiopian brand. Likewise, the “Konjo” app on Google Play is a dating app and has nothing to do with betting.

Konjo Bet registration and login

Registration at Konjo is based on an Ethiopian mobile number in the +251 format. The brand publishes no full sign-up guide, so steps 2 and 3 describe how such forms typically work:

1. Open the registration form on konjo.bet and enter your +251 mobile number.
2. Typically, you then choose a password.
3. Typically, you confirm the number with a one-time SMS code.
4. Confirm that you are 21 or older, the minimum betting age in Ethiopia.

Konjo Bet login

You log in with your phone number and password. Konjo does not publish a support phone number, and we do not list numbers taken from third-party sites. Some review sites say there is 24/7 live chat in Amharic, which we could not confirm. Never share your password or SMS codes with people who contact you privately.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

Telebirr is the payment method most consistently linked to Konjo. Review sites also list CBE Birr, the Chapa payment gateway and USDT crypto deposits through exchanges such as Binance and OKX, and the platform’s own text mentions M-Pesa for withdrawals. We could not verify the full cashier. Minimum deposits and payout times quoted online vary between sources, from 24 hours to three business days for withdrawals, so check the cashier yourself.

According to review sites, the maximum payout is 1,000,000 ETB per day. Keep in mind that Ethiopian banks and payment operators have been ordered to block betting transactions since December 2025. Our guide to telebirr, CBE Birr and M-Pesa betting explains how each wallet works.

Konjo betting Ethiopia: sports, live bets and odds

The sportsbook is the most complete part of Konjo. At our check it had pre-match and upcoming events, a live betting section and cash-out on the betslip. A useful local touch is that the betslip shows potential winnings both before and after tax. Ethiopia’s withholding tax on gambling winnings is 20% under Proclamation 1395/2025, so the after-tax figure is what reaches your account.

Football leads, as on every Ethiopian sportsbook. We did not audit the full league list, so if you follow the Ethiopian Premier League or a smaller European league, check the schedule before you count on it. We did not measure margins, so we make no claim about whether Konjo’s odds are higher or lower than the market.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

Konjo bundles a wide gaming offer into the same account:

• A casino with slots, plus a live casino, a “virtual casino” and a special games section.
• Crash games such as JetX and Fury Flight.
• Virtual sports from Golden Race and Xpress.
• A jackpot section, a poker room and race-style tournaments.

We did not find a dedicated keno section at Konjo. If keno is your game, our guide to keno betting online in Ethiopia explains how the 80-number draw works.

Konjo Bet bonuses and promotions

We found no welcome offer published on konjo.bet itself. Some review sites mention a welcome bonus of “up to 100%” on accumulators, but we could not confirm it. Promotions on the shared platform, such as cashback and accumulator boosts, are advertised under the Best Bet name, and we could not confirm that they apply to Konjo accounts. Check the promotions page on konjo.bet for current terms.

Mobile site and app

Konjo works as a web app in any phone browser. The platform settings include an Android install option, and review sites claim apps for both Android and iOS. We could not confirm a published app in an official store. Install only from a link on konjo.bet.

Is Konjo Bet safe?

Konjo’s status is unclear. The site was online at our last check in October 2026, but no betting operator holds a valid Ethiopian licence since the nationwide revocation of December 2025. Before you register, keep these points in mind:

• The only official domain we could confirm is konjo.bet. konjobet.et is a review site, and other look-alike domains are not official.
• Support relies on online channels. No official phone number is published.
• Betting is for adults aged 21 and over. If it stops being fun, Gambling Therapy offers free, anonymous support online.

Our verdict on Konjo Bet

As a product, Konjo Bet online is one of the more complete platforms aimed at Ethiopian players. It has a full sportsbook with live betting and cash-out, a betslip that shows winnings after tax, a casino, crash games and poker, all in English, Amharic and French. Its weak points are transparency and status: it shares a white-label platform and social channels with Best Bet, publishes almost no company information, and like every operator it has no valid Ethiopian licence. That combination explains a rating that is good but not top.
