TopBet7 Ethiopia Review

TopBet7 – also searched as top bet 7, and branded simply “Top Bet” on its own pages – was a local Ethiopian sportsbook that ran on two domains, topbet7.com and topbet.et. Both sites used the same live-chat account, which is how we know they were one brand. In this review we set out what TopBet7 offered, how its payments worked and what is left of it today.

At our last check in October 2026, neither domain worked: topbet7.com still resolves but refuses a secure connection, and topbet.et does not respond at all. The last archived copy of the site dates from December 2025, the month in which Ethiopia’s regulator revoked every sports-betting licence. TopBet7 is also one of the brands with the least public information – there is no official Telegram channel and no named operator – so we stick to what we could verify.

What is TopBet7?

The topbet7.com domain appears in web archives from August 2018, which makes it one of the older names in Ethiopian online betting, although we could not confirm what the earliest version of the site contained. The second domain, topbet.et, was archived from April 2024 to October 2025 and pointed to itself as the home address in the site code.

Technically, TopBet7 ran on a local white-label platform that it shared with other Ethiopian brands, including Abol Bet, Zemen Bet and AfroSports. The archived code shows the platform’s typical features: an interface in Amharic, English and French, support for opening the site as a Telegram Web App, and connections to Ethiopian payment gateways. The footer carried the line “Licensed Under Ethiopian National Lottery”, without a licence number. We could not find the legal entity behind the brand.

TopBet7 registration and login

We could not test sign-up, because both domains were offline before our review. The archived copies do not show the full registration form, so we describe the usual pattern: Ethiopian betting sites of this type typically ask for a mobile number in the +251 format, a password or PIN, and a one-time SMS code to confirm the number. Only people aged 21 and over were allowed to bet under Ethiopian rules.

Top Bet 7 login and lookalike sites

Login normally used the same phone number and password. Because the platform supported Telegram Web App mode, some players may have reached their account through Telegram as well as through the browser. Today, be careful with search results: at least one lookalike domain with “topbet7” in the name is a third-party review site, not the operator, and unrelated “topbet” sites from other countries also appear in results. Do not enter your old login details anywhere except the brand’s own domains.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

TopBet7 never published a payment page we could find, so the evidence is indirect. The archived site code contains payment flows for:

• CBE Birr;
• HelloCash;
• SantimPay;
• Dashen Bank’s Amole.

A review site also lists telebirr as a historical option. Because the code is shared across several brands, some of these entries may be platform defaults rather than methods TopBet7 actually switched on. Sports betting and odds

TopBet7 was first and foremost a sportsbook. In Ethiopia, the betting that matters is football – the English Premier League, other European leagues and the Ethiopian Premier League – and that is what a local site of this kind is built around. The archived code shows two features worth noting:

• cash-out – the code contains a “Cashout Successful” message, so bets could be settled early;
• jackpot – there are Jackpot and Jackpot History screens, although we do not know the format or prize sizes.

We found no clear evidence of a live (in-play) section, and we never measured TopBet7’s odds, so we do not publish a margin figure.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

Beyond football, the code includes a “Virtual Games” section and references to the crash games Aviator and JetX. A review site also reports a casino section, and the code has a general games area, but we could not see the lobby itself. We found no evidence of a keno product on TopBet7. If you are mainly interested in fast games, remember that crash rounds last seconds – set a budget before you start, on any site.

TopBet7 bonuses and promotions

We have no official, dated record of a TopBet7 promotion. A review site published in 2026 repeats claims of a 100% first-deposit bonus plus multibet, cashback, referral and cash-out bonuses, but gives no dates or terms, and we could not confirm any of it. With both domains offline, there is no TopBet7 bonus to claim today, whatever a Telegram post or banner may say.

Mobile site and app

TopBet7 worked as a mobile website, and its platform could also run inside Telegram as a Web App. We found no verified Android APK and no iOS app. Treat any “TopBet7 app” offered in a chat group as unsafe: an APK from an unknown source can read SMS codes and capture your login details.

Is TopBet7 safe?

The honest answer is that there is too little information to call TopBet7 transparent. The operating company is unknown, the footer claimed a national licence without a number, and no official social channel could be found. All sports-betting licences in Ethiopia were revoked on 15 December 2025, and both domains have been unreachable since. If you ever see TopBet7 back online, check that the address is topbet7.com or topbet.et, never share your PIN or SMS codes, and remember that betting is for adults aged 21 and over.

Our verdict on TopBet7

TopBet7 was a typical mid-sized local sportsbook: a long-running domain, a three-language interface, several local payment flows, cash-out and a jackpot section on a platform it shared with other Ethiopian brands. What held it back was the lack of public information – no named operator, no official channel, no published terms – and today both domains are offline.
