Flash Bet Ethiopia Review

Flash bet is one of the betting names Ethiopian players search for most often, usually typed as “flashbet” or “flash sport bet”. All of these searches lead to one brand, Flash Sport, which ran an online sportsbook and games site at flashsport.bet. In this review we set out what we could verify: how sign-up worked, which payment options were reported, what the site offered and what has happened to it since.

Official information on Flash Sport is thin, and most details repeated online come from review pages that contradict one another; where a point rests only on them, we say so. At our last check in October 2026 the flashsport.bet homepage returned an error page, and the latest working archived copies date from late 2025. Read this review as a description of how the brand worked, not as an invitation to sign up.

What is Flash Sport Bet?

Flash Sport, marketed as Flash Bet and, on Facebook, as Flash Sport Betting with Addis Ababa given as its location, appeared online in the second half of 2024. The first archived copy of flashsport.bet is from September 2024. Archived pages show a working site with a casino section, promotion pages and a sign-up form until November and December 2025, and review sites describe a sportsbook as the core of the offer.

No operating company is named on any official channel we could find. One review site names a company, but that site is not connected to the brand and even points to a different “official” domain, so we do not repeat the name. The archived site code suggests that Flash Sport used the same white-label front-end as several other Ethiopian brands, including Habesha Bet. Whether the two are sister brands, we could not confirm.

Flash Bet registration and login

The archived site had a standard sign-up page, and the brand used SMS both for registration and for marketing messages. We found no copy of the form itself, but on Ethiopian betting sites of this type registration typically worked like this:

1. Open the sign-up form and enter an Ethiopian mobile number in the +251 format.
2. Choose a password or PIN for the account.
3. Confirm the number with a code sent by SMS.
4. Confirm that you are 21 or older and accept the terms.

The platform’s code set 21 as the minimum age for its Ethiopian projects, and the brand’s Instagram account carried a 21+ notice, in line with the minimum betting age in Ethiopia.

FlashBet login and lost passwords

On platforms like this one, login was typically by phone number and password, with a reset through an SMS code. As the site is offline, there is no working login page today. Be careful with any page that asks for your old account details now: a lookalike domain is far more likely to collect passwords than to give access to an account.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

Review sites listed telebirr, CBE Birr, HelloCash, SantimPay, ArifPay and M-Pesa for Flash Sport, but the lists differ from page to page, and we found no official payment page to compare them with. The archived platform code did contain handlers for telebirr, HelloCash and Amole, so local mobile wallets were built in.

A minimum deposit of 10 birr is quoted by one review site only, and we could not confirm it. We found no reliable figures for withdrawals or payout times. For how the main wallets work and what changed for betting payments after December 2025, see our guide to telebirr and CBE Birr betting payments.

Sports betting and odds

Football drives betting across Ethiopia, with the English Premier League and the Ethiopian Premier League attracting most local interest, and review sites describe a Flash Sport sportsbook built around it. Beyond that, we cannot describe market depth or odds margins with any confidence, because we have no record of the odds the site offered.

Live betting is claimed by a review site, and the same kind of source mentions a sports jackpot with a 20 birr stake. Neither appears in the archived official pages we could open, so treat both as unconfirmed.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

This part of the site is better documented. Archived copies of the homepage loaded live virtual games from TVBet, and a casino section was online in November 2025. The archived casino addresses also include crash and instant games, among them a chicken-crossing game and Plinko. Aviator is listed by review sites, but we did not see it on an archived official page.

We found no evidence that Flash Sport offered keno.

Flash Bet bonuses and promotions

Between January and April 2025 the site had promotion pages titled “10% Cashback”, “free bet” and “highest multiplier”. The archived copies show the titles but not the terms, so we cannot state conditions, minimum odds or caps.

Figures that circulate elsewhere, such as sign-up “Sport Points”, a 5% deposit bonus, a multi-bet bonus of up to 300% or a maximum win of one million birr, come from a single review site and could not be confirmed. None of these promotions are running today.

Mobile site and app

We found no official Flash Sport app in any store and no download link on the archived site. The brand worked as a mobile website that loaded in a phone browser. APK files offered under the brand name by third-party sites are not official and are best avoided.

Is Flash Sport Bet safe?

We cannot describe Flash Sport as a regulated operator. Review sites claimed a licence from the national lottery regulator, and one also mentioned Curaçao, but we found no licence number and no official source for either claim. Since 15 December 2025 no betting operator in Ethiopia holds a valid licence from the Ethiopian Lottery Service.

The bigger practical risk now is impersonation. The brand’s own Instagram account warned users about fake channels, and a small Telegram channel uses the brand name without any confirmed link to it. Several websites with names built around flashbet are review or information sites, not the operator. Do not send money or personal details to any of them. If betting is starting to cost more than you planned, our responsible gambling page lists where to get help.

Our verdict on Flash Bet

Flash Sport was a young brand with a modern mobile site, TVBet virtuals, a casino and a few cashback promotions, and it ran for little more than a year. What it never offered was transparency: no named operator, no licence number and few official details. With the website offline at our last check in October 2026, there is nothing to sign up for. Our rating describes the brand as it was, with deductions for the lack of information.
