Quick Birr Betting Review

Quick birr is how most people search for QwickBirr, an Ethiopian online casino and games site at qwickbirr.com that is also written Qwick Birr or Quickbirr. Since its first posts in November 2023 the brand has concentrated on slots, crash games such as Aviator and JetX, Golden Race virtual racing and keno, and it added a sports tab only in August 2025. Its official Telegram channel has about 24,500 subscribers.

We checked the site on 9 October 2026. It still loaded and showed its game lobby, a deposit page and a licence statement in the footer. The official channel, however, has posted nothing since 27 November 2025, and since 15 December 2025 no betting operator in Ethiopia has a valid licence, so we describe the brand’s status as unclear. We did not open an account; this review is based on the website, its terms and the brand’s own posts.

What is QwickBirr?

QwickBirr started in November 2023 as a casino-first brand; the earliest web archive copies of the site are from January 2024. Its terms and conditions name only “Qwickbirr” as the operator and give no company registration details. Despite the name, it is not a payment service or a crypto product.

The site is in English, while some Telegram posts are in Amharic. The game lobby is built on recognised suppliers: Amusnet (partner since November 2024), Habanero, EGT, BGaming, Endorphina, SmartSoft and Pragmatic Play.

QwickBirr and Qwick Bet: how they relate

The names are close, and the two brands are likely the same group. In November and December 2023 the official channel of the sportsbook Qwick Bet posted qwickbirr.com links tagged #Qwickbet, and one review site calls QwickBirr the casino site of Qwick Bet. The evidence is medium, though: the two run on different platforms, QwickBirr’s channel never mentions Qwick Bet, and we found no confirmed legal link. In practice they are separate sites with separate products.

Qwick Birr registration and login

QwickBirr does not describe its sign-up form in its posts. On Ethiopian games sites of this type, registration typically works like this:

1. Open the registration form and enter an Ethiopian mobile number in the +251 format.
2. Choose a password or PIN.
3. Confirm the number with a code sent by SMS.
4. Confirm that you are at least 21 and accept the terms and conditions.

The terms set the minimum age at 21 (clause 7.1.1), the legal minimum for betting in Ethiopia, even though some older posts mention 18+.

Login and customer support

Login is typically by phone number and password. The site footer lists a customer-centre phone number, live chat and e-mail, and describes support as available around the clock. Use only contact details shown on qwickbirr.com itself: lookalike addresses ending in .org or .net, or with extra hyphens, are information sites, not the operator.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

The only payment method QwickBirr has confirmed in an official post is M-Pesa (28 July 2025). One blog also lists telebirr, eBirr and SantimPay, but we could not confirm them, and the footer’s “Paybill Numbers” block was empty at our check.

No minimum deposit, withdrawal limits or payout times are published. The smallest documented figures come from promotions: a 50 ETB first deposit earned free spins in June 2025, and Golden Race games took bets from 5 birr in April 2024. Read our guide to M-Pesa, telebirr and CBE Birr betting before using a wallet for gambling: since December 2025 banks and payment providers have been ordered to block betting transactions.

Sports betting and odds

Sport came late. Before August 2025 the only football products were pool-style games on real matches: “Soccer 13” and the “Mahara Jackpot”, which in October and November 2024 gave members one free bet per round. A full sports tab was added on 1 August 2025.

We have no data on the depth of that sportsbook, its odds or its live markets. As a place for football betting, Quick Birr bet is far less established than its casino.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

This is the core of QwickBirr. Crash games are a major part of the lobby: Aviator from Spribe, JetX, AviatriX and Plinko, with the brand claiming more than 60 crash games at the end of 2024. Golden Race supplies virtual horse and dog racing, penalty games and virtual football.

Keno from Golden Race is available as well, including a keno version on the Android app. The site menu also shows live games and a live dealer section, and jackpot slots come from Amusnet and Habanero. How keno works in general is explained in our keno guide.

QwickBirr bonuses and promotions

Promotions were built around free spins and tournaments. All of the following come from the official channel:

• November 2023: extra free spins for deposits of 1,000 ETB or more.
• 2023: a referral and agent programme paying 4% of referred players’ deposits across up to three sub-agent levels, later advertised as “earn up to 20,000 ETB” (2025).
• May 2024: a free Lucky Wheel spin every 24 hours.
• November and December 2024: “WIN Challenge” slot tournaments with 3 million and 5 million ETB prize pools; a third, with 6 million ETB, ran from 11 September to 28 October 2025.
• June 2025: 10 Aviator free spins for a first deposit of at least 50 ETB.
• November 2025 (Black Friday): 20 free spins for a 1,000 ETB deposit.

We found no promotions after November 2025 and could not review the full wagering terms.

Mobile site and app

QwickBirr has offered an Android app downloaded directly from its website, and in December 2023 it advertised “exclusive games only on Android app”, keno among them. A copy of the file from any other site should be treated as unsafe. The website also works in a mobile browser.

Is QwickBirr safe?

The footer of qwickbirr.com carries a licence claim that refers to the National Lottery Administration and gives the number ስ/ው/ብሎ/60/2012. We could not verify it, and it cannot be current: the Ethiopian Lottery Service, as the regulator is now called, revoked all sports-betting licences on 15 December 2025. Read the footer as a historical statement, not as proof of regulation today.

On the positive side, the terms set the minimum age at 21 and the site lists several support channels. The weak points are an unnamed operator and an official channel that has been quiet for almost a year.

Our verdict on QwickBirr

QwickBirr is a casino and crash-game brand rather than a bookmaker: recognised suppliers, Golden Race virtuals and keno, big slot tournaments and an Android app. Against that stand a sportsbook added only in August 2025, M-Pesa as the only confirmed payment method, no named company and an outdated licence claim. With the site online but the brand silent since November 2025, we rate its status as unclear and suggest caution.
