Best Bet Ethiopia Review

Best bet is an Ethiopian betting brand whose Telegram channel dates back to 2019 and, unusually, one that is still active: its official site is bestbet.bet, and its Telegram channel posts every day. Best Bet offers a sportsbook with live betting and cash-out, virtual games, slots and crash games, aimed squarely at Amharic-speaking players and paid for with telebirr. Below we look at the product, the promotions and the risks.

Best Bet announced its return on 15 June 2026. We did not open an account; this review is based on the website, which loaded at our check on 9 October 2026, and on more than 300 posts on the official channel from June to October 2026.

What is Best Bet?

Best Bet presents itself as a veteran of the Ethiopian market: its relaunch post described it as one of the early betting sites coming back. Posts from before June 2026 have been deleted from the channel, so we could not confirm when the brand first launched. No operating company is named on its official channels.

Since the relaunch Best Bet has leaned heavily on virtual games and slot tournaments, alongside football promotions around the 2026 World Cup. The channel, with about 24,800 subscribers, posts in Amharic, while the website’s own description is in English. In September 2026 the brand said it had paid out 13,250,521 birr to sports winners over two weeks, a figure we cannot check.

Best Bet Ethiopia and lookalike sites

Searches for “best bet ethiopia” often lead to bestbet.et, an Amharic review portal that is not the operator, while bestbet.com is an unrelated foreign brand. The official channel calls itself the authentic channel of bestbet.bet, so that is the domain to check against.

Best Bet registration and login

Best Bet shares a sign-up link on its channel but does not describe the registration form. On Ethiopian betting sites, sign-up typically follows these steps:

1. Open the registration form and enter an Ethiopian mobile number in the +251 format.
2. Choose a password or PIN.
3. Confirm the number with the code sent by SMS.
4. Confirm that you are 21 or older and accept the terms.

Best Bet login and support

Login is typically with the phone number and password used at registration. Support runs through a link on the official Telegram channel; no phone number is published. Never share SMS codes or your password with anyone who contacts you first, whatever name and logo they use.

Deposits and withdrawals in birr

Best Bet works with telebirr only. A telebirr deposit system was announced together with the relaunch on 15 June 2026, and the channel promotes telebirr for both deposits and withdrawals; no other method is mentioned. Stakes on virtual games and slots start from 3 birr (July 2026), and in August 2026 the brand stated a maximum win and withdrawal of up to 1,000,000 birr per day.

Withdrawals are described only as “fast and easy”, with no processing times or minimum amount. Since December 2025 banks and payment providers in Ethiopia have been ordered to block betting transactions, so a payment to a betting site may not go through; our telebirr betting guide explains the rules.

Sports betting and odds

Football is the focus, as it is across the Ethiopian market, where the English Premier League and the Ethiopian Premier League attract most of the bets. Best Bet runs live betting with cash-out, so a ticket can be settled before the final whistle. Accumulators are encouraged with boosts and refunds.

We did not place bets, so we cannot comment on odds margins or the number of markets per match.

Casino, virtual games, Aviator and keno

Virtual games are one of Best Bet’s main products, with daily “Best Daily Virtual” tournaments. Slots come from SmartSoft, BeOn Gaming and other suppliers, including titles such as Multihot5, Burning Ice, Red Hot Crown, Sizzling Star and Habesha Fortune, and some slots carry jackpots, for example the Sizzling Blaze Jackpot.

Among crash games, Best Bet lists Aviator, JetX (relaunched with up to four simultaneous bets), Plinko and Fury Flight. We found no keno on the brand’s channel. For keno, see our keno guide.

Best Bet bonuses and promotions

Promotions are where Best Bet is most active. The following were announced on its official channel, with dates:

• 20 June 2026: weekly sports cashback of 10% of net weekly losses, for players whose sports losses exceed 1,000 birr.
• 29 June 2026: a refund bonus of up to 250,000 birr if one leg of a ticket loses, or up to 100,000 birr if two legs lose.
• 2 July 2026: an accumulator bonus of up to 400% from three selections, capped at 100,000 birr extra.
• 9 July 2026: weekly casino and virtual cashback of 10% of net losses, credited every Wednesday.
• June–July 2026: a World Cup weekly sports tournament worth 185,000 birr per week across 50 places.
• 10–30 July 2026: SmartSoft tournaments worth 7,000,000 birr (4 million on a JetX leaderboard and 3 million on Multihot5).
• June–October 2026: “Best Rain”, with 25,000 birr in free bets handed out every evening between 8 and 9 pm on selected games.
• July–October 2026: daily virtual tournaments of up to 15,000 birr and weekly ones of up to 25,000 birr.

Terms are posted in Amharic. Cashback softens a loss but does not cancel it, so set a budget first.

Mobile site and app

We found no official Best Bet app or download link. The brand works through its website in a mobile browser, while news, support and promotions run through Telegram. Treat any APK offered by a third-party site as unofficial.

Is Best Bet Ethiopia safe?

Best Bet is an active brand without an Ethiopian licence. It publishes no licence statement and no operator name, and review sites that mention a licence from the national lottery regulator give no number. Since 15 December 2025, when the Ethiopian Lottery Service revoked all sports-betting licences, no betting operator holds a valid licence in Ethiopia, and Best Bet came back after that date. In practice there is no regulator to complain to if a withdrawal is refused or an account is closed, and that is the main risk to weigh against the promotions.

Check that you are on bestbet.bet rather than a lookalike domain, and remember that betting is only for adults aged 21 and over. Our verdict on Best Bet

On product alone, Best Bet offers more than most Ethiopian brands we have reviewed: a sportsbook with live betting and cash-out, a busy virtual and slot section, frequent cashback and tournaments, and an Amharic-speaking community. The weak points are just as clear: telebirr only, support via Telegram, no named company and no Ethiopian licence, so players have no regulatory protection. Our rating reflects the product; the low licence score reflects the risk.
